Fund for Innovation

Contributing to the Downeast Institute's Fund for Innovation allows DEI to respond quickly to near term opportunities and challenges (such as impacts caused by climate change and/or ecological imbalances) threatening commercially important shellfish species and the people who depend on them.

Contributing to this fund also enables DEI to create new educational programming to help young people better understand the marine environment and teach them ways to protect it.
